Chat History

Neural Factory saves your conversations so you can return to them later. The chat history sidebar organizes your past chats by date, making it easy to find and resume previous discussions.

Browsing history

Your conversation history appears in the left sidebar, grouped by time period:
  • Today — Conversations from the current day
  • Previous 7 Days — Last week’s conversations
  • Previous 30 Days — Last month’s conversations
  • Older — Conversations from more than 30 days ago
Each entry shows the conversation title (typically derived from your first message) and the agent you were chatting with.

Resuming a conversation

Click on any conversation in the history sidebar to reopen it. The full message thread is restored, and you can continue the conversation where you left off. The agent retains context from the previous messages in that session. This works even if you left mid-answer. Agent tasks run on the server, so a turn that was still in progress when you closed the tab kept going: reopening the conversation reattaches to the live task and resumes showing it as it works. If it finished while you were away, the answer is already there in the thread. You never need to resend a message just because you lost your connection — and resending would start a second, separately billed task.

Deleting conversations

To delete a conversation:
  1. Hover over the conversation entry in the sidebar
  2. Click the delete icon that appears
  3. Confirm the deletion
Deleted conversations cannot be recovered. This removes the conversation from your history only — it does not affect the agent or any underlying documents.

Search in history

Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to find specific conversations by keyword. This searches conversation titles and message content.
