Selecting an Agent
Your organization may have multiple agents configured for different purposes — one for HR questions, another for technical documentation, a third for sales support. The agent picker lets you choose which agent to talk to.Using the agent picker
The agent picker is located in the chat input bar. Click on it to see a list of all agents available to you. Each agent in the list shows:- Name — A descriptive name set by your administrator (e.g., “HR Assistant”, “Engineering Docs”)
- Description — A brief summary of what the agent is designed to help with
What makes agents different
Different agents may have:- Different knowledge bases — An HR agent searches HR documents, while an engineering agent searches technical docs
- Different tools — Some agents can search the web, execute code, or connect to external systems like Jira or Outlook
- Different instructions — Each agent has a custom system prompt that shapes its personality, tone, and behavior
- Different models — Agents may use different AI models optimized for different tasks
